＜天然成分へのこだわり＞
AWAEDのキャンドルは、天然由来成分のみの「ワックス」と「精油」を厳選して使用しています。これにより、環境に優しいだけでなく、化学物質を含まない自然な香りと、安心して使えるクリーンな燃焼を実現しています。天然素材を使用することで、以下のようなメリットが得られます。

徳島県が誇る伝統的な染料、阿波藍（あわあい）を独自の配合でキャンドルに取り入れた鮮やかなブルーが、私たちのブランドの象徴です。抗菌性を持つ成分を含み、濃淡ある藍色は古くから清浄の象徴として暮らしや神事に用いられてきました。「勝ち色」として人々に力強さを与え、心を落ち着ける色としても親しまれています。火を灯し、キャンドルが溶けていくと深い藍色が広がり始めます。この美しい色の変化は、自然の力を感じさせ、目でも楽しむことができる特別なキャンドルを作り出しています。

キャンドル容器には、約250年の歴史を持つ徳島県の伝統工芸「大谷焼（おおたにやき）」を採用。AWAEDのために特別にオーダーメイドされたデザインと容器は、陶芸家の技と心が込められた一品です。キャンドルを灯し終えた後も、インテリアや器として長く使っていただけるデザインとなっています。

・Awa Indigo: Timeless Beauty
A signature of our brand is the vivid blue hue infused into our candles with Awa Indigo, Tokushima’s renowned traditional dye. Known for its antibacterial properties, indigo has long been cherished as a symbol of purity, woven into daily life and sacred rituals. Revered as a “winning color” that inspires strength, it is equally valued for its calming presence. As the flame melts the candle, the deep shades of indigo gradually spread, creating a mesmerizing transformation—an invitation to experience the quiet power of nature through both sight and scent.

For our containers, we turn to Ōtani-yaki, a traditional Tokushima pottery with a history spanning more than 200 years. Each vessel is custom-made for AWAED, embodying the dedication and artistry of skilled potters. Thoughtfully designed for lasting use, the containers can continue to serve as elegant tableware or interior pieces long after the candle has burned, carrying forward both beauty and purpose.
